The European Union Reference Laboratory for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EURL-ECVAM), the Institute for Health and Consumer Protection, has published two calls for grantholder positions to support EURL-ECVAM in the assessment and validation of alternative methods:

• ''Validation of alternative test methods for assessing the genotoxic and carcinogenic potential of substances'' (Code: 2012-IPR-I-30-000-00623 - CAT 30 - ISPRA)

• ''Validation of alternative test methods for the assessment of endocrine disruptors'' (Code: 2012-IPR-I-30-000-00624 - CAT 30 - ISPRA)

Deadline for the applications is 7 October 2012.
