The Portuguese Society for Humane Education (SPEdH) is sponsoring this International Conference of Alternatives to Animal Experimentation in Portugal in January. The aim of the conference is to promote dialogue on 3R policies, specifically alternatives to animal testing such as the use of in vitro and in silico models. The program (which can be viewed by following the document link above) includes keynote presentations by Professor Emeritus Marc Bekoff and Professor Horst Spielmann.
