Governance

IIVS is advised by members of our Science Advisory Panel (SAP). The SAP is comprised of representatives from industry who have made valuable contributions to the Institute. Additionally, members from other non-profits and international validation authorities are invited to participate. The Panel was created to assist the Institute in determining the direction and priorities of its scientific activities. The members review and comment on programs proposed by IIVS staff, suggest other areas of focus appropriate for IIVS activities, and provide information which is utilized by the Institute in designing future programs.
